Glenis Willmott MEP at Brussels Labour this Wednesday

Glenis WillmottThe next Brussels Labour branch meeting will be held this Wednesday, 24 April, when Glenis Willmott MEP will be our guest speaker. Glenis is the leader of the European Parliamentary Labour Party and will talk to the branch about the work of Labour MEPs and the upcoming European elections.

The meeting with take place at FEPS, Rue Montoyer 40, 1000 Brussels and will begin at 19:30.

Join the Fête du Progrès on 30 April

To celebrate May Day on 1 May, the Brussels Federation of the Parti Socialiste is organising the latest Fête du Progrès on Tuesday 30 April from 20:00.

The event takes place at La Tentation (28 rue de Laeken – 1000 Bruxelles)

Tickets are on advance sale for €5 from the local sections and from the Federation (galerie Ravenstein 28/7 – 1000 Bruxelles)

To celebrate our 40th birthday Brussels Labour will hold an Anniversary Dinner on Wednesday 19 June – and we’d like to invite you to join the party…

The dinner will be addressed by Neil Kinnock, Honorary President of Brussels Labour, former leader of the Labour Party, and former Vice-President of the European Commission, and by Emma Reynolds MP, the Shadow Europe Minister.

The dinner will be held in the Restaurant L’Atelier Européen, Rue Franklin 28, 1000 Brussels.

Tickets are €45 for Brussels Labour members, €15 for members on a reduced rate (limited places available) and €60 for non-members.
