About Brussels Labour membership

Brussels Labour membership is separate from Labour Party membership. Although Labour International now has branch status with the Labour Party, overseas branches (such as Brussels Labour) do not receive funding from the national party and we rely on additional subscriptions from members.

The Party has decided that Labour International Branches can require an additional payment (currently 25 EUR, or 5 EUR for unwaged people or stagiaires) to meet costs including those for room hire for our meetings, funding social events, sending out mailings, and paying the running costs of our website.

Membership of Brussels Labour is open to members of the Labour Party and of its sister parties.

The preferred method of payment is an annual standing order. We also accept bank transfers or cash payments at a branch meeting.
