With the UK outside the EU, it’s vital we now keep our voices strong in Brussels and connected to our allies across Europe. We are hosting an event to update members on UK–EU relations. The evening will provide an opportunity to hear expert perspectives, contribute to the debate, and discuss our own vision for the future of cooperation.
Our speakers will be:
Mike Buckley – Organisational leader, campaigner, and commentator with more than 25 years’ experience across politics, policy, and advocacy. Founder and director of the Independent Commission on UK–EU Relations, a think tank dedicated to strengthening UK–EU collaboration.
Simon Atkinson – Strategic Engagement, UK Mission to the European Union. A career diplomat with wide-ranging international experience in Europe, Asia, and Africa, specialising in EU relations, foreign policy, and sustainable development
Time will also be set aside for members to discuss Gaza and the Labour Deputy Leadership contest.
