With Labour in power in the UK, and with ever rising right-wing populism on mainland Europe, the political reality on this side of the Atlantic is somewhat different than in 2016 or 2020. The outcome of the U.S. Presidential election will contribute significantly to the world we live in going forward.
With this in mind, we are delighted to welcome Pauline Manos, former Chair of Democrats Abroad Belgium to speak with us about the coming election.
Topics for discussion will include better understanding Kamala Harris, the state of her campaign and what a Trump victory would mean for Europe.
Pauline Manos is an independent marketing consultant who volunteers with Democrats Abroad Belgium, one of the many overseas chapters of the US Democratic Party. She began her career with Procter & Gamble in Rome, moving to Brussels in 2002. In 2015, Pauline began consulting publicly- and privately-held companies, as well as individuals. She served as the Chair of Democrats Abroad Belgium from 2016-2021 and continues to volunteer on voter assistance, communications and press relations.
